With Robinson Cano being on the DL and he wont be returning until after the All -Star break..

Do you think Iguchi will be the starting 2B...

If not, HE SHOULD! He's gotten my 20 (or so) votes.

No question about it. If the voting wasn't so biased from the beginning, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Now it's A-Rods turn to come up lame!
Please Ozzie, don't do the political thing. Do what NY managers have done in the past and put the right guys in!

I guess that depends on who plays second base for Boston, don't they get a automatic start if a Yankee drops out?

Ive voted so many times I am TIRED OF VOTING! I hate the Yankees and Red Sox. Who the hell is voting for these teams?!!??!

It looks like a Yanks & R Sox vs Mets all star game..

Im hoping the Sox will have at least 7 players in the game

I've voted the max 5 times now. I have no clue who thinks that some of these guys should be in the game. Even joe mauer is 3rd with catchers.....thats just not right

there is no way the White Sox get 7 on this team. I predict 3-4.

1B: David Ortiz
2B: Robinson Cano
SS: Derek Jeter
3b: Alex Rodriguez
OF: Manny
OF: Vlad
OF: Ichiro
C: Varitek/Rodriguez

That is only 4 or 5 teams represented which leaves way too many other teams with the minimum 1 player to make up.
Other possibilities:

Toronto: Alex Rios, Roy Halladay, Troy Glaus, Vernon Wells, B.J. Ryan (?)
Baltimore: Tejada, Brian Roberts,
Tampa: Carl Crawford, Scott Kazmir
Detroit:Magglio, Rodriguez, Kenny Rogers, Justin Verlander (?)
Minnesota: Joe Mauer, Johan Santana, Liriano (longshot)
Cleveland: Travis Hafner, Blake, Sizemore, Martinez all possible,
White Sox:Konerko, Thome, Crede, Iguchi, AJ, Contreras, Jenks, Buehrle, Dye
Kansas City: ???? Grudzielanek??
Texas:Gary Matthews Jr., Michael Young,
Oakland:Nick Swisher, Barry Zito
Boston: Johnathon Papelbon, Mark Loretta, Mike Lowell, Trot Nixon, Schilling
New York:Damon, Posada, Giambi, Mussina, Rivera

Cano will probably still be on the team right? I kind of remember people going to the game but not starting. And I would love to see the whole sox team out there so If Iguchi gets on there this way, I'll take it.

I almost think it should be 1 player per team. This Red Yankees All star team is sick

the gooch

i like the idea of only one player per team STARTING the game. Pitchers excluded. If Selig wants fans to watch, i think 16 cities guaranteed to have their player START the game will go a lot farther than what is in place.

I wont watch the game to see IF my guy comes into the game.
I wont watch the game BECAUSE I voted for that guy.
