Sunday's promotion is free Pepsi WS caps to the first 20,000 people.
Game time is 7:05. How early do I have to get there to be amongst the first 20,000? Thanks, I searched but couldn't find this anywhere.

5pm is a good bet.
I'll be in a suite.. And with the rain they are talking about I'm happy about that.
Rain delay means, lets face it, I'm eating more..

5pm! That's too early. What's the latest I can get there and still get the hat? Just an estimate... 5:30, no later than 6 pm, etc. Thanks again!

Hard to pin down. For something like this I'd say 6:15 at the latest.

Rain? Who's news are you watching...I've seen no rain until a small chance of something Monday

5pm is early...but you gotta remember man, it's a Sunday night nationally televised game...being a world series rematch game...Can't stand waiting in the seats? I suggest forgetting the hat then cuz it'll probably have to be closer to 5 than to 6

I love it when somebody asks a question and then gets upset when they hear the answer.

NBC 5 and skilling both said it last night. A few web sites have some rain as well.

I gigure that 20,000 is half of the stadium and that is a lot of people just get there about 20 minutes before the gates open and think your good, I'll be there in the bleachers

I'm much more worried about being one of the 10,000 (or is it 20K?) tonight to get the World Series Banners.

What time do the gates open? [edit] answer above. Thanks, Gene!

I'd say 5:00, I know oh my god you have to sit in a beautiful baseball stadium and watch batting practice for an hour, but if you want to get the giveaway you gotta be there that early. Ask anyone who was at Ring and/or Trophy day, the lines to get in for big giveaways are very, very long.

Does anyone know anything about tonights mini WS banner giveaway? The collectible stadium was a dud and definitely not worth getting to the game early. They used to show a picture of the giveaway item on schedule link at whitesox.com but not anymore.

I just checked it and it's the first 20,000 21 and over. I planned to get there at about 5 to 5:30 but now I'm not sure if I'll go that early because I'm only 19.
