What is the *funniest* sign you have ever seen at a game?

I pose this question to all of you, because I saw the absolute funniest sign ever at a game tonight.

"GIVE THEM A THOME ACHE!"

Creative, cleaver, and funny!

I saw that at Game 1 of the ALDS last year. Were you anywhere near Section 529 at that game, or was this at a different game?

I remember from the 70's..

"Chets no Lemon"
"Downings Astounding!"

In the old Chicago Staduim, after Petr Klima (of Edmonton IIRC) received a DUI, a banner hung on the mezanine facade "Hey Klima, pull over!"

The Sosa strikeout meter at the 6/9/00 Cubs-Sox games was the best.

The guy didn't bring enough numbers for Sosa's 5 K performance. He only brought a 1,2,3 and 4 and had to make up a "5" by writing on a piece of cardboard and stuck that to his sign. The place went crazy.

That was the 14 inning game that Sosa tied up in the 9th and Durham won in the 14th by driving in the Milk Man.

I'm always amused by the signs people bring that spell out the name of the network airing the ballgame.... always an easy way to get on TV... something like:

__CAN'T

But I swear one time I saw a guy holding a sign that said:

Greatest
Network

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that actually what WGN stands for? What an IDIOT!

You have to include the context as well....the three guys dressed up as a dinosaur, santa claus, and (I think) the easter bunny holding the sign up.

I was with my friend for that game and that was his sign (although I held it up a lot). During game one of the World Series he was asked to not hold that sign up any longer, they were afraid they'd show it on TV, LOL...

He also had a great Bobby Jenks sign with Bobby Hill on it...

The "I'd Neal for Cotts" sign these young gals were holding up one game a month or 2 ago was pretty funny.

British Cigarette has to be the best one currently.

But, two years ago I saw a huge guy out in left center that I still think is the best ever, and I have no idea how he pulled it off.

The pitcher for the opposing team was getting rocked by Sox batters, and he held up a sign that read, "Leave him in. He's doing fine!"

Dick Allen

Definitely "Washington Slept Here".
Also, "Supherrmann" for the old catcher.
"Pitch at risk to Rich Zisk" - not the cleverest, but a reminder of some great times at the old ballpark.

Here's one you never saw because my ( future ) wife talked me out of taking it to the game...THUMBS UP FOR CARLOS MAY!!!This was upon his return shortly after recovering from a National Guard training accident.
