suspension tonite. he dropped his appeal and will start serving it against the cards and then the astros.

I know that the cards are throwing two righthanders the next two games-and that the astros are throwing Oswalt. Who else? Will Mack be facing five righthanders the rest of this week?

If so then I guess I can see getting it over with. Five games with less than stellar defense in the outfield. Go Sox

To be honest if we have to have a bad mix of outfielders I would choose Pods in CF and Pablo in LF. Any combo of the 3 (Pods, Pablo, Mack) is equally weak in the field however offensively the strongest is Pods and Pablo.

Keep Pods out of center field. He's currently struggling in left (6 errors-highest in the league).

Mackowiak is 10-for-24 (.417) in his career against Marquis.

He should and hopefully will get the nod tonight in CF.

Yes, and Pettitte has actually had more success against righties than lefties in his career. His cutter is his out pitch.

I don't think there is a chance in hell that we'll see Mac and Ozuna together. That would be one bad outfield!
