What is the best way to find, on the internet, what a certain batter or lineup hits against a certain pitcher? For instance, if I wanted to know what each batter in the Sox starting lineup hits against Mark Mulder, what (free) website would I use? Thanks.

I personally use Yahoo. Just go to the Yahoo MLB homepage, the search through the team's roster until you find the player you are looking for. The click on Batter vs. Pitcher, then click on since 1987 if you are looking for career numbers versus a certain pitcher or batter.

ESPN.COM and cbssportsline.com have some pretty good stats as well.

I think ESPN and Yahoo Sports both have splits like that...

Retrosheet. org

Go to Mulder and look at daily / yearly splits.

www.cbs.sportsline.com (http://www.cbs.sportsline.com) is very good. U can compare the batter to the pitcher he is facing.

I use mlb.com to check batters vs. pitchers. Click the "Stats" button at the top of the page and then click on "Batter vs. Pitcher." You can do the whole White Sox team vs. a certain pitcher or a certain batter vs. pitcher. I did Mulder vs. White Sox this morning.
