I guess there was a lot of cheering for the Kitties at Wrigley this weekend.

No surprise since a big percentage of the neighborhood is populated by residents driving Jettas and SUVs with MI plates and/or U of M window stickers. For the first time since they began their mass invasion of Chicago, the Tigers are watchable and it looks like they are un-adopting their new neighborhood's team. As if they were ever looking in the direction of the field.

It's a good thing we're on top, otherwise 9 times a year our park would look like the UC during a Blackhawks-Red Wings game.

I live in the River North area, and I noticed alot of Tigers gear walking around this weekend.I jokingly told one guy that his jersey wasnt welcome here, and he said (noticing my Sox hat) "yeah but we arent even playing you guys this weekend.":?:

I saw that tonight as well. Add to that Piven's "performance" at Wrigley this afternoon and you got yourself an award winning actor.
