My wife heard that Vince Vaughn was a Cubs fan and she wanted to know if the Sox had any celebrity fans. I told her Dennis DeYoung and Mayor Daley. There must be others...

There are lots of celebrity Sox fans in What's the Score. There's a thread over there right now about celebrity sports fans. Also, if you do a search I believe there were quite a few threads about this last Oct.

First, that's not teal.

Second, Bernie Mac was wearing a Cubs hat in 2003, and a Sox hat last year. I'm pretty sure he grew up a Cubs fan.

Well said. And Mac grew up a Sox fan, but lost it all in 2003. While, for this weekend only, I am actually rooting for the Cubs to win, no self-respecting Sox fan would EVER wear a Cub hat. Screw your Fox network obligations! Show up wearing a Bears hat, and I think everyone would get the message.

Somebody here a month or so ago posted a quote in which McBride called Bernie Mac a poser. However, I heard McBride a year or two ago being interviewed by Pat and Ron just before singing TMOTTBG at Wrigley Field, just as Mr. Mac did.

James Denton of Desperate Houswives is a Sox fan too.

I also hear that Jerry Springer and wrestler "Mankind" (or whatever he calls himself now) are also WSox fans, although I'm not as sure about these last two.

Why do we all care? Now we will become stylish and celebs will look for cheap pub by being Sox fans. The beauty of a Sox fan is that you stuck with them when they were the most unstylish team in America. Notice AJ's comments on the DVD, there are alot of Sox fans alll of the sudden. Great, we have James Deaton ,does any one care. Can Jane Deaton or Bernie Mac tell me that the Lamer was a great offensive player that could not field & that Chet Lemon made 1 handed catches. Yes that would be nice if Dwayne Wade can do this, he has the intensity winners like the Sox have/need to come through in the clutch, like Shanni Davis. Assuming the Marlins don't object (our home Katrinia team in September 2004, fun game to watch against the Expos).
