Since we already know 7 of the 8 position spots are going to Yankees and Red Sox, are you still voting for the all-star team or are you just waiting for the 30th man vote to come?

I have not voted yet. I am waiting for the last day and vote then. Maybe there will be millions of sox fans like me. Then we could surprise everyone by getting our players in.

I have not seen the numbers.........who is our best shot?

The main thing is that the AL wins the All-Star game.

It doesn't matter who wins the All Star Game, the world series winner is coming out of the AL.

Once the playoffs start who knows what can happen. Who would have thought that the Rush would win Arena Bowl XX? (LOL!)

I haven't voted either. It seems to be pointless. Can anyone explain how the Yankees and RedSox are in all the top spots except one?

because they are getting the most votes? maybe if we all voted, people would see it was close and it might matter to vote and then vote! Hmmm that sounds like the democrats actually. I havent voted yet but i'll try to get around to it! I voted 25 times last season for the sox i thought deserved the spots. Maybe most of us chicago fans are more resonable than the east coast ones who just vote for their team, probably not though.

Maybe because the Yankees play in the largest market and their team is featured prominently across the country. Additionally, the Yankees and Red Sox have large national followings.

that's a pretty bad analogy. We're talkin about baseball here, not a gimmicky semi-pro version of football.

I haven't voted yet. When does voting end?

What's the maximum number of times you can vote by hand?

What's the maximum number of times you can vote by hand?

Probably as often as you want.

Anyone ever stop to think that maybe the reason the White Sox aren't represented as of yet is because all of the so called "fans" haven't even voted yet? I can't believe people on this board are saying it's pointless to vote. That's exactly why the Yankees and the Red Sox are represented...Their fans actually take the time to support their teams and vote.

I finished all my 25 votes tonight.

All player votes were White Sox players. Who would have guessed!

they should hand the ballots out when you walk into the park, instead of just having them in the big boxes. More would vote that way

I went to the Sat and Sunday games against Cleveland. I voted about 100 times each daya and I had my nephews (8 & 10) voting as well. Unfortunately the boys are both on teams in Milwaukee named Mariners so they voted for a mix of White Sox, Mariners and Brewers. As long as they had Iguchi and Dye consistent I didn't bug them.

You'll think it matters when Jim Thome has to spend the first two WS games on the bench.
