I know attendance threads aren't appreciated but i thought this was post worthy. The crowd of 37,612 pushed the White Sox's attendance to the 1 million mark through 30 home dates. That's the quickest the White Sox have reached 1 million in franchise history

Please don't ban me :smile:

I can't believe all those morons are going to the games. That's why our TV ratings are so low. I wish these idiots would stay home and support the team...

I'm not sure how they necessarily define a sellout. I'm sure there were singles, obstructed, and maybe some standing room seats left, but I think all normal tickets were probably sold.

A sellout means all available seats have been sold. Simple as that.

There looked like some of the seats near the upper "extremes" were empty. I'm sure those aren't season ticket seats either.

I was there tonight hopin to get the signed, Wednesday giveaway, Dan Pasqua, bong stained, 1 millioneth fan, jersey, yet to no avail.:whiner: I'll take the White Sox winner though!!! Bringin' my broom mananna~~

Good thing the Sox stopped broadcasting home games. Obviously winning didn't result in better attendance. Reinsdorf is always thinkin!

I'm still waiting for the constant stream of criticism from our attendance-obsessed local media and ESPN about the lack of fan support for the Toons, Twinkies and especially the first-place Tiggers.
