(just pointing it out, not asking)

Pods
Sizemore
Stewart
Granderson

Also, great pitching

Great closers (Nathan, Jenks, hate Wickman but he's getting it done), though AL East has its share too

AL East counters with:

Brian Roberts
Coco Crisp
Johnny Damon
Alex Rios

Carl Crawford doesn't currently lead off, but he could for many teams.

Not too shabby.

And Rivera, Papelbon, BJ Ryan and Chris Ray at the back ends of 4 bullpens

Also not too shabby.

To me the best six teams in baseball have to be Sox,Tigers,Indians,Yanks,Carmines, and Jays.

Its gonna be a helluva race for four spots.

And three between the teams you listed.

I'll be interested to see if Texas can run away with the West, or if LAA and Oakland can hang around.

I can't help but cheer for Granderson...first UIC alum to make it to the Show.

Not to mention the fact that hes a DAMN good baseball player.

Unfortunately hes well on his way to becoming a Sox killer

Granderson can hit, but if you hit a fly ball to shallow center even Paulie could tag and score from third.

I'll take Pods because of the havoc he causes on the bases, but Granderson is a leadoff hitter with some serious power. Not bad.

Plus the West counters with Ichiro, Chone Figgins and Gary Mathews Jr.

I love Scotty, and I like Granderson because of the UIC thing, but Sizemore's got scary talent.

Good gosh...Granderson is good and I love Pods, but neither one of those guys are in Sizemore's class.

Pods and Granderson are fine fine ball players...Grady Sizemore is/will be a bonafide superstar and is well on his way to becomming the games best center fielder (in league with Wells and a few others).

I like all of the AL Central leadoff guys.

As a tiger fan it's been so much fun watching Granderson. He's turning into a fine player. He rarely has a bad at bat. He may not be a leadoff guy much longer though.

I'd take Scotties P play. I hope Ozzie gives the same advice to hime this year. We don't need power, keep it to the base paths. Do this and you will be the best lead off man in the league.
