Rookie phenom takes the hill for his third start in a Halos uniform. This kid looked awesome his first two starts and joins Liriano, Verlander, Hamels, Johnson and Papelbon in an excellent rookie pitcher crop produced in 2006. Try to catch him if you can and for all you rotisserie players he is someone you should pounce on.

Great way to spend the afternoon waiting for the game tonight with WSI member Dave Wills providing the call on MLB Audio.

He was 4-1 with a 2.05 ERA in AAA before being called up. He shows alot of promise just like his brother did :D:

Jeff should have stayed in LA / the NL so he could mask the fact he is a mediocre pitcher. Jered may bump his brother from the lineup when Bartolo returns.

6 IP, 2 Solo Shots (2 ER), 2 additional hits, 4 Ks, no walks. He will pick up the win if the Angels can hold their 6-2 lead for the remaining 3 innings.

Another strong outing!!!

I got to watch him pitch for the Bees in Tacoma. He was a phenominal pitcher then. The only reason the Rainiers won the game that day was because the coach brought in the bull pen and they coughed up the game. The R's couldn't hardly touch Jered.
