"ESPN has officially pulled the plug on its Barry Bonds reality show, citing a conflict with the controversial slugger's representatives over "creative control." The sports cable network already had placed "Bonds on Bonds" on hiatus last month after its May 30 episode. The network has struggled with the series from the time it launched in March because of poor ratings and criticism that ESPN was compromising its news operation by collaborating with Bonds, who is at the center of baseball's steroid scandal."

It's a shame about Pujols injury because now we'll never get to see the "CHASING BONDS" header.

This story is just too freaking funny! LOL.

Bonds hits No. 715, and the radio goes dead .....HaHa!!!http://spinn.svt.se/images/s3-simp-muntz.gif

The broadcast went dead at the worst of all moments, and thousands of Bay Area fans listening on radio missed Barry Bonds' 715th homer. The full article will be available on the Web for a limited time:

i agree on letting the show even last that long. bonds is a steriod user, plus hes not much of a role model for kids out of the park. hes good at baseball, but refuses autographs and that sort of stuff.

Ok everyone, just like we do at the Cell.....

"Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Hey, Hey, Hey....Goodbye!"

;)

But knowing the ESPN execs, they'll probably replace it with "Grim(sley) Honest: An insiders attempt to make money off of being a cheater."

Talk about shrunken balls that the ESPN brass have in not letting this go on.
