Can someone give highlights for those of us who can't listen?

Thanks.

You can go online on 670thescore.com right now and listen.

Or usually if they have good interviews, they archive them on the website. Try checking it out tomorrow.

KW talked about the draft / organization charts (preparing for the draft / mapping the organization), Matt Thornton (Cooper said he could fix him and KW was excited to pick him up), Brian Anderson (a little adversity is good if the player can grow / learn from it) and yawn Sports Talk Radio (KW doesn't listen to it - Thank God).

Nothing controversial.

Did they ask him what he thinks about the current state of the NS team?

Pretty standard stuff from Kenny. Came across as his usual passionate, intense self. Actually sounded like the consumate pro, considering who was interviewing him. Murph, on the other hand, continues to be an embarrassment to Chicago radio. He is an AWFUL interviewer. His questioning sounded very awkward, and un-informed. He kept interjecting with that unneccassary, phony laugh of his. Kudos to Kenny for doing what I consider a good job. It's gotta be tough when you have a complete ass clown asking you questions, and not really understanding, or caring what your answer will be.

Wow, and now they just played a minute long highlight reel for corey patterson

So in essence, every interview KW ever does?

So, what did Kenny have to say about the Cubs?

Great game last night, hit 2 HRS, SB and robbed a 2 run homer that would have tied the game to end the game.

Someone is going to post a funny response to this using that awesome shot of KW, you know the one where he's talking with the sunglasses on. It's not going to be me because I can't be that funny when it comes to KW. I take him seriously.

This is not what I had in mind Batsy.

In response to what you said, I thought KW waits?

I caught a little of his interview. 3 points I heard:

- Feels that this year's and last year's team is full of players that have faced adversity at some point in their career and have shown an ability to overcome it. He felt that was very important in assembling the right people for this team.

- Having a coaching staff that mostly played for the Sox helps in that the coaches are very good at preparing the players for how the media is going to react to certain issues. This way, the players know what to expect and aren't bothered as much by media pressure.

- Pointed out that Anderson's OBP is about .100 points higher than his batting avg. Feels that the rest of the team is strong enough to enable them keep BA in the lineup. I didn't get the impression from what he said they were looking to pull the plug on BA anytime soon. They want to make sure BA keeps a positive outlook and doesn't start doubting his ability or worth.

No cameras or film exist which could capture the speed and fury of a KW roundhouse kick.

Scientists are close to capturing a Chuck Norris roundhouse but are decades away from capturing KW in the act.

It should read do NOT **** with Kenny under these pictures! :cool:Meh. You'd be pretty safe. Kenny never could do much damage with a bat.

Now if baseball rules allowed him to deliver a roundhouse kick to the ball....

This is the first time I've noticed this picture. Maybe because I've missed a few KW threads, but what is this? This looks like the cockpit of a Blue Angels F-18 fighter.

That's exactly what it is. He puked his guts out doing it back in 2004.
