So I'm playing roulette at Wynn's in Vegas this weekend, half-drunk (okay, fully drunk), and guess what clown walks up to play? Sammy F'n Sosa. He was even drinking his water in that obnoxious way, where the bottle doesn't touch his lips. I was waiting for him to pour it over his head, too. Heh heh. I was playing #23 for MJ/Dye, but pulled it off there when he started playing. Anyhow, it took all my drunken restraint to not lip off to him, especially since I was losing. Looked suprisingly smaller than I remember. hmm....:redneck

I guess he's given up on playing baseball again. I'm still waiting for him to actually hold retirement press conference, though. Maybe he's hoping the Yankees take a shot at him.

If you did win while he was at your table, you should of looked at him, kissed your fingers, touched your chest and pointed skyward while skipping around the table waving a miniature American flag.

No chance he holds a presser and allows people to actually ask him questions. Maybe he'll do ESPN's Budweiser Hot Seat, you know, that bastion of hard-hitting investigative journalism.

I was playing #14, #23 (pre-Sosa arrival) and #25. So badly wanted #14 or #25 to come up so I could lip off about Paulie or Thome being natural hitters. No such luck. Honestly, I hated him more than any Cub I can remember, and I've been a Cub hater since I left the womb. If you can find one that makes your skin crawl more, good luck.

Wynn's is awesome, if anyone is headed out there. Great casino/hotel all the way around.

He actually said he was playing #23 for MJ (which makes sense) and Dye (which doesn't). I guess he inherently knew #21 was a bad number. :redneck

When I played roulette in the either 1990s for fun I'd bet on Jordan (even though I wasn't a Bulls / Jordan fan - just knew he was money) and on the four corners around 23 (for Dean Smith his coach).

I too love the Wynn!

Yes, I know Sosa was #21, but the other Cub a#$-clown Sandberg was #23 and it made sense in my drunken Cub-hating mind. Heh heh. Drunken logic is a beautiful thing.

He may be the smartest out of all of them, play the 'no speak English' routine, take all your money, and run the hell out of baseball.

Also Giambi, I think he hasn't had as much backlash since he admitted it when it all came out

If you won while he was there, you should have said, "Diz game has been bery, bery goodtome."

There's an article in the Trib today about him being spotted in Vegas. I guess he was hanging out with Urlacher.

I just honestly spit water all over my keyboard laughing at that. I can totally picture that tool drinking like that.

Well, he can't get within 25 yards of Steve Smith.

(Yes, I know it wasn't all his fault in that game, he had a great interception, blah blah blah, he's still the captain of a defense that **** its pants.)
