Now that most of the offseason transactions have been conducted, here's my predictions:
AL CENTRAL 2002
1. WHITE SOX 91-71
2. TWINS 90-72
3. INDIANS 84-78
4. TIGERS 79-83
5. ROYALS 69-93

you think the twins will finish with that good of record?? i wouldnt be suprised if they went back to their ways of before 2001, just because they had 1 good season, doesnt mean it will happen again. plus i believe they went through all of last season with virtually no one on the disabled list, a team cant go that long without anyone getting seriously injured, unless of course your the yankees

Looks good.... That's the order in which the teams will finish, IMO. Except I don't think the Twins are quite that good..
And, truthfully, I'd be surprised if the Indians finish above .500 with that crap pitching and crap offense now.

Let's not forget the Twinkies having to play without Tom Kelly. He was one of the major reasons the Twinkies overachieved.

1. White Sox (93-69)
2. Minnesota (85-77)
3. Cleveland (78-84)
4. Detroit (70-92)
5. Kansas City (68-94)
This should be the Sox division to lose. Any team that has Brad Radke, Eric Milton and Joe Mays at the top of the rotation should be a contender. Cleveland is in rebuilding mode and this will be a down year for them. Detroit has some good young talent but they still have too many thugs and that moron for a manager. Until the Royals get some pitching they will be the doormats of the Central.
