The White Sox pulled a triple play against the Twins and damn if the Twins don't pull a triple play a couple weeks later. Today they pulled a triple play off the Mariners. The third out was against Carl.

Twins turn triple play to end threat in 8th

Manager Ron Gardenhire brought in Juan Rincon (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6676/) to face Kenji Johjima (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7687/), who hit a groundball to second base on the first pitch. Luis Castillo (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5676/) scooped up the ball and chased down Beltre to tag him out, then threw to first to get Johjima.
First baseman Justin Morneau (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7063/) noticed Everett leaning the wrong way off third base and fired a strike to Tony Batista (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/5621/) at the bag. Batista tagged out Everett to complete the triple play and close the inning with the Twins still leading 8-5. Sexson scored from third on the play.

I don't completely understand your headline when they didn't pull the triple play against our guys.

Agreed. The thread title should be "Twins learn from the best."
