Has anyone seen a bench-clearing brawl in another country? I would not want to be in a brawl in China and get my dumb self mortal komabated.

Actually, everyone in the Peoples' Republic of China learns Tai Chi in school. Granted, it's more like yoga than the Chinese Connection, but the vast majority of several billion Chinese do know a "martial art."

That said, the sports brawls I have seen overseas are like ours: mostly pushing and shoving with all the real fighting on the ground. No one wants to end their career over some dumb fight. FANS, however, are a different story...

I wouldn't know about China. I did witness some fights and some destruction of Liverpool England after a match vs. Manchester. That's one thing you don't want to get in the way of English soccer fans and players. I just ran to the nearest watering hole.

Wasn't there a fight involving Japan in the WBC?

Even though he's Korean Chan Ho Park issued an incredible drop kick in a fight a few years ago.
