They really need to allow people access to all games and devote a portion of the revenue to the club. I cancelled my MLB.TV subscription due to the fact White Sox games are blacked out. I'd pay an additional fee (which theoretically would go to the White Sox) to MLB / Reinsdorf to pay for access a portion of which could go to the cable companies.

In Vegas, people are blacked out of SIX markets even though the teams are hundreds of miles away (here is the map - http://www.baseballthinkfactory.org/files/astrodirt/discussion/419/ ).

Time to get into the 1970s or 1980s MLB. The NFL makes billions on their TV rights while baseball is penny wise and pound foolish (their natural state).

I've never understood this at all.

Every fan in every city should be able to see every game on MLB.TV in some way, shape or form.

MLB.TV is not competition to real TV. Two seperate things!

Bud Selig runs MLB. Is anyone really surprised that kind of stupidity exists under his watch?
