Oh my god, that is hillariously awful. I laughed out loud the second time through. How about the similarity in the one lyric to the new Pearl Jam song:
"...worldwide, suicides..."

Captain Stubby has nothing to worry about for now.

I don't think so... It sounds like a commercial you would hear on Saturday morning cartoons for some action toy.

This song (http://whitesoxinteractive.com//GoGoSoxELSON.rm) should be re-arranged and re-recorded with Sinatra impersonator. It would kill.

That was god awful. Sounds like something from the movie Major League. If they actually play that at a game, I might gag.

There is no way anybody other than the artists heard that and thought it was good. I hope I never have to hear the full 2:26 version!

I'd rather listen to a song with nothing but Kazoos, Slide Whistles, and Cowbells than listening to this piece of ****.

Did you say cowbells....

Yes, I did. After the Core of the Core party I still have the wonderful sound of the cowbell ingraved in my mind thanks to my friends "Ironfisk" and "ChiSoxFanatic"

Is Horrendousuck a word?

Seriously, that is BRUTAL. I can't believe that ANYONE in Sox marketing would even consider playing that Sox withing a 100 miles of the park.

You guys are overreacting.

I won't be updating my White Sox mix CD after listening to this, but it wasn't that bad.

Fight songs are more effective if you can understand the lyrics without having to read them. I'm not sure what was being sung about there.

File it with stuff like "Rock With the Sox" and "'59 Fever" from years past...

I was gonna say a commercial from the 80's for some product so completely unrelated to a "rock" song it's not funny but I like your assement better.

Yeah, that's not good.

Beat me to it! It sounds simliar to, but pales beside, the greatness of "America **** Yeah!" from Team America: World Police.

AMERICA **** ya!!

It does sound like that!

Also - that new commercial - not sure what it's for...

"The back of my legs... are sticking to the pleather!"

They wouldn't do it more than a couple times, since judging by the reaction here, everyone in the park would boo till they stopped playing it and put on "Go Go White Sox"

Right shape, wrong size.

It is just painful. I keep expecting an advertisement for GI Joes or a remote control car. I bet we could throw together something much better in about a half hour. At least better lyrics. Seriously, it's "Good-bye" not "byebye".

The lyrics are stupid, as is the song. It has no consistent beat either. It's an all around mess, and that was just the edited version.

The No Necks?..is this a joke? I hope they didn't spend money on this. Whoever approved this is completely out of touch with reality.

Maybe, just maybe the chorus "Here comes the Sox, here comes the Sox" could be used for radio/tv intros...other than that it does sound a lot like the G.I. Joe theme song or something

My biggest beef with the song is the fact that there is a reference in it to the cubs. That is unforgivable in a Sox song.
