Looks like the Cub season will be in the dumpster before they get Lee and Prior back meaning they'll probably be holding a fire sale. In Dempster, Howry, Williamson, and even Novoa they have some helpful bullpen talent from the right side. Interested in making a deal with the devil? Or fine the way we are?

I don't care where the players come from, Garland and Gload came from the Cubs.

Is anyone in their pen the answer to our problems?

Can we get some teal for the thought of having Gas Can warming up in our bullpen?

Will be?

As Hawk says, "you can wrap this one up and send it to Cooperstown."

If there is a trade out there to be made that can improve the team I don't care who the trade is with. Howry and Eyre will be sticking around because they are signed to expensive multiyear contracts. As would Dempster. I don't see him going anywhere. Though if Williamson continues pitching well I wouldn't mind taking a look at him as an extra bullpen arm. He's probably the only guy on the roster I would take though. I wouldn't trust Novoa in a real pressure situation though I think in a year or so I might. He has some talent. Not a guy I would look into now though.

I certainly wouldn't consider giving up much of value though. I think better pitchers will be available.
