I just saw a Sox fan outside on Michigan Avenue, wearing one of those fancy new White Sox baseball jackets with the leather sleeves and insignia commemorating what happened last October. So I asked him about the big non-existent rivalry between the Sox fans and Cubs fans.
"What rivalry?" the fellow said, looking around, as if to find it. He looked at the insignia on the sleeves of his jacket. "Rivalry? Are you crazy? There's no rivalry."
