3-0 Natz in the 2nd inning.

Carrie Woods has given up two home runs already. A solo shot to Ryan Zimmerman and a 2-run bomb to slugging sensation Damien Jackson.

I'm not sure if he does, but it's possible to have a batting average lower than your on-base percentage. Sacrifice flies don't count as a time at bat, but they count as an appearance against your on-base percentage, unlike sacrifice bunts, walks and hit-by-pitches.

No they're not. Which I assume is why Kenny Williams has not had time to post in this thread.

As for the rest of us, we can't do a damn thing to resolve any of these issues, and really, I think we've all said "Boone Logan sucks" "Brian Anderson sucks/Brian Anderson will be good" "Jon garland sucks/Jon Garland rocks" and "Jim Thome rules" in some form or another 400,000 times in the last month and a half. And it hasn't changed anything at all, so a few people decided to post on something else. If this thread stops the Sox from getting a good leftie reliever for the pen then I will apologize to every White Sox fan personally. But I don't think it's going to come to that.

The timing of this Wood debacle could NOT have been better. This little 2-game win streak the Flubbies had could have really jacked them for the Sox this weekend, particularly with a strong outing from Carrie.

Instead, after a strong outing of Carrie and 4 homers later, the Flubs have the wind sucked right out of them and have to be feeling really sucky as they head to 35th & Shields.

Sweet bunt by the number 6 hitter in the ninth with two out with the winning run at the plate. YOU NEED A DOUBLE THERE. Even if he gets on they are still a hit away from tying the game. Thats just a guy that doesn't want to win the game, but instead doesn't want to be the goat and is more than willing to let someone else be the hero. I think I would shoot myself if the Sox played baseball this way.
