I'd much rather face a Kerry Wood coming off an injury than a Carlos Zambrano on Sunday... What are the chances that the North Siders move their rotation back a day due to the weather?

If today gets rained out, I think Johnny B. will shuffle the rotation so that Maddux, Carrie, and The Jackass will go this weekend.

Baker would certainly skip Hill. Wouldn't you?

I would, but that certainly doesn't mean that Baker would.

"Good, now the Cubs will get a chance to extend their 2-game winning streak (http://www.suntimes.com/output/sports/cst-spt-cub18.html)."

I just turned the game on as it's about to start, and the stadium is only half full right now at Wood's big comeback game.

How is that possible?! The papers tell me that Wrigley Field is always packed full with the most passionate fans you'll find anywhere in the world.

Wood is crumbling at the moment in the second, giving up a bomb to Zimmerman and throwing all around the strike zone. Taken deep by Damien Jackson, of all people. 3-0 nats. Beautiful:D:

But he'll end up giving up 5 or 6 runs through 5 innings and the Trib headlines will talk about how he toughed it out and is on his way back (to 14 win type stuff). Still a TON of empty seats there too.

But he has 2 K's already! And this is only his first game back!
