And I will be at all three.

on Friday, myself and daughter, can someone please shed some light on whther or not, during the crosstown series if they will allow you to be in the outfield patio areas, or if you have to be in your seats? I am so excited to be able to go to the series, and am so looknig forward to it, but I don't want to have to sit in the nosebleeds (where our seats are) if we don't have to. We are just far enough away from Chicago to not be able to afford season tickets (Dubuque to the Cell is 3 1/2 hours, plus gas) so we only get to about 3-4 games a season. Our tickets are section 555 row 18, seats 13 & 14.

If its not a season ticket, you're going to have to sit in the upper tank.

If you have seats in the upper deck that are not part of a season ticket plan, they are not suppossed to allow you to access the 100 level, for any reasons. Of course, there are several ways to get around that if you want.

If you do make it down to the 100 level, I would assume that you would not be able to access the Patio area. The reason for this is because it will more than likely be rented out to a private party. Usually during the high-profile games, the patio, fandeck and sometimes even the Bullpen Sports Bar and The Fundamentals area are closed to anyone who is not a member of the party who has reserved them.

If by some slim chance the patio is not reserved, you should have no problem getting access to it. But like I said, the chances of it being booked already are pretty high.

If you don't want to sit in your seats because they are too far away, then you still have a few options. Assuming that you can get on the 100 level, you can always stand out on the concourse behind the seats and watch the game. Most people do this on the outfield concourse, but not many people realize that you can stand anywhere on the concourse you want. Several times I have stood on the concourse right by third or first base. These are GREAT "seats" and you will really have an awesome view of the game. But that's not for everyone. I mean, some people don't want to stand the entire game.

If you need to sit, check out sections 155 and 109. 155 is located down the third base line and 109 is down the first base line. These 2 sections often have a few empty seasts, even during sold out games. The reason for this is because these are the sections that the Sox sell to some of the people who buy group packages. The group comes to the game, but they often don't sit in their "assigned" seats. They go off to join their group, which may be in the group areas I previously mentioned (Bullpen,Fandeck.etc.)

Group outings are usually handled seperately then "normal" tickets, but for the big games, they sell the tickets in those sections for the groups as well. And don't worry, I'm not just telling you a rumor or something that I have heard, this info. comes directly from my ticket rep.

So basically, if you can get down into the lower deck, you have a few options, that just depends on what you are most comfortable with. If you can not get down to the 100 level, you still have options in the upper deck, but they are fewer. You can try and find a row where the people are simply not sitting that's more to your liking. Or you can stand in the hallways of the upper deck in certain sections. The hallways to the RIGHT of section 522 and to the LEFT of section 542 are fair game for standing.

Hope this helped a bit, have a blast!

Thanks for the advice, I had no idea until I looked at the tickets they were for Upper deck only. I went on an auction site tonight and upgrded my tickets for the same price, and better seats, lower deck. Now we are really psyched!!

New tickets are for sec 151, row 31. How many rows are in lower deck, anyhoo? Now all I have to do is get rid of the other two seats! :D:

Now pray for sun!!!

It's not possible to say how many rows are in the lower deck because not all sections have the same amount of rows. But all things considered, there are around 40-50 rows in each section.

So if your in row 31, you are in the upper 2/3 or 3/4 of the section, depending on the section. But thats not bad at all. Infact, I have sat in pretty much every section of that park and I have yet to come across a "bad" seat. You'll have a blast!

Sold my tickets to some Sox fans at face. I don't want to end up on 35th and Lowe. I know it's immature but I just can't handle Cub fans.

BTW which sec in the lower deck has 40-50 rows?
