Ray Durham is back with the Giants after being on the DL with a strained hammy.

Ray was one of my favorites and I hated to see him go. The link said Ray has been in the DL 5 times in four years with the Giants.

Further proof that bad things happen to people who leave the Organization

Arguably has turned out to be a decent move by KW in 2002 to let him go.

He didn't leave voluntarily. I wish no ill-will on him

I guess the Sox saved a little money and had Jon Adkins as a momentary fill in.

We struggled with that position in 2003 and 2004. Do you think Durham on the 2003 team would have made a difference (ie worth four or five more wins on the season)? It's interesting to consider.
