B'ham leading its early start 3-1 in the 4th.
Rodriguez on the bump for the Barons.
All 3 runs scored on 2 more Smith HRs.

Aside: It's awesome that minorleaguebaseball.com links to gameday audio for minor-league teams (in addition to the gamecast feature for AAA games). OTOH, it's depressing to realize that some random announcers in places like Knoxville, TN and Ft. Mill, SC are 12 times better than the radio announcers for our MLB Champs.

The announcers noted that several SL teams failed to tarp their fields overnight, despite heavy downpours.

on a HR to RCF by Fields in the bottom of
the 2nd.

The 'Hogs are scoreless in the 3rd.

The I's trail 1-0 through 2 innings of play.

I've noticed the same thing. I like the guy down in Birmingham. He does a nice job. Listened to Kann and W-S and enjoyed as well.

Whisler threw 7 shutout tonight. What's with that guy? He either gives up 8 runs in an inning and a third or he's untouchable.

Kanny got spanked but good again. Two more errors for Whealy.

The same reason why you just pray he figures it out... got very good stuff if he can develop the proper mentaility and consistency...
