Google just unveiled a new tool called Google Trends. It allows you to compare the world's interest on up to 5 topics. It shows graphs over time on how often terms have been searched for on Google and how frequently the topics appeared in Google News stories.
To test it out I entered the terms:
white sox, cubs
The graphs it produced clearly show the gap between searches for the White Sox and Cubs are closing up. Also the amount of news stories has now become about equal. Of course there were huge spikes in the fall of last year for the White Sox.
This is just more ammunition to throw back at the remaining lemming Cubs fans.
