Who would you like to see walk away from the game more, Barry Bonds or Bud Selig? ....and why?

Bud because if Barry used steroids Selig allowed it.

Selig is the disease, Bonds is the symptom. Can't have one without the other, but I still voted Bonds because he is a jerk.

I'd have to agree with you there. I voted Bonds though for the sake of picking one. I don't want him passing Aaron or Ruth. At least Selig created interleague play and the three-tier playoff system.

Bonds is the biggest tool in the game, but Bud Selig is the toolbox.

Exactly.

Bonds is just one of many steroid freaks Bud ignored for over a decade. Bonds can use the cream and the clear right before taking one of Bud's sanctioned MLB drug tests today and pass with flying colors.

Steroids, 1994, Collusion, Perjury, Extortion - Bud is guilty on all counts.

People need to consider the overall game - not the record in todays headlines.

I also think interleague and the wild card cheapen baseball and are further indictments - not reasons to praise - Bud Selig.

Selig did enable everything, the MLBPA is too blame as well. Selig did create interleague play (which I'm a fan of the idea, but not how it's done right now) and the wild card (which I think is great). But Bonds is the bigger jerk, so I vote for him.

Apparently you have never heard the old guard like Marvin Miller talk. They still say steroid testing is wrong.

Bonds b/c he's an insult to the game. Although I agree that Mr. Selig has been negligent, but I bet it was to enable more interest in baseball, not that it's an excuse.
Face it, the record chase between Steriods Sosa and 'Roids McGuire really brought a lot of people back to baseball. You can't tell me that Bud had no idea what was going on... Baseball is a business, and unfortunately it was (is) all about the bottom line... attendance, fan interest = MLB merchandise sales, etc.

Baseball will survive Selig's incompetence as it has following the tenures of several previous commissioners. It will also survive Barry Bonds, but he has disgrace himself and the game on the field for all the world to see.

Bonds will be gone soon enough based on his age, Selig is a tool and can go right now.

Bonds will be gone soon enough based on his age, Selig is a tool and can go right now.A hundred years from now, no one will remember who Bud Selig was. Barry's phony-baloney homerun records will still be hanging around.

Barry Bonds works for one man: Barry Bonds. I doubt he'll pass Aaron, and Ruth's record is irrevelant since Aaron broke it; If anyone is concerned about Barry passing the Babe, I'd like to see Bonds set World Series pitching records.

That's why I voted Selig. He's the doofus who runs the show.

Selig. Nature will take Bonds away from the game in a couple years, but Dud Selig looks to be around for a while.

Selig. He was either too stupid to realize, or he was aware of the steroid problem and did nothing. Either way, he should be out. I could be tempted to vote for Bonds though if he takes that awful show on ESPN with him.
