Anyone have tonight's lineup? I want the Sox to destroy Kansas tonight. I mean seriously, I want to see the Royals depantsed and humiliated. Garland had better be sharp. This could be one of those games where it gets away from him early and turns into a 10-9 war of attrition. I hate games like that.

Viva White Sox!

True. No Sweeney in the lineup for the Royal ones though, right ? So, the Sox and Jon have that going for them right of the bat, eh ? I say let the depantsing, and subsequent humiliation commence !

If anyone can do that it would be Garland.

Sweeney gone, probably for awhile, bulging disk, same prob that kept him out 2 months in 2004

Perhaps facing the anemic KC lineup might be the confidence builder JG needs to get back to his 05 form. Kinda like a mountain lion mom leaving an injured animal for her cubs to finish off; it teaches them how to hunt.

Damn, that was morbid.

Hey Baby Fisk: this sounds personal, what do you have against Kansas?

I believe that this K.C. lineup is the worst Major League lineup that I have ever seen.

If Garland can't hold them to 3 runs or less, then I want to renegotiate his contract.

Canada hates Kansas. I think it was the Wizard of Oz that did it.

The Royals are more like a bunch of munchkins. I'd hate to see them outsmart and outplay the World Champion White Sox. They must be crushed!

Actually, it's the Lollypop Guild. For the longest time I couldn't understand what they were saying. I finally had to look it up one day.

There actually is no lineup today for the White Sox. The Royals are so bad, we don't need one. Ozzie figures the Royals will eventually just beat themselves.

Yes, but in his original post he refers to "Kansas," so I thought it was a Wizard of Oz kind of thing....

"You can put it on the boooooard...YES! That's the third home run in a row given up by Scott Elarton, and the good guys are still in the dugout! Ozzie Guillen looking on in amusement as designated baserunner Man Soo Lee rounds the bases once again. Mercy!"

Wow, you actually can pretty much fill a complete team with ex-Sox within the org. I knew we had a lot on board, but never actually attempted to fill out a lineup card like that. :D:

It's going to be Joe Crede vs. the Royals.

Seems sort of unfair. . . for the Royals.

I suppose Hawk would have to come off the bench and also be the entire bullpen.

Pish-posh. With these nine ringers, we would scarcely need a bullpen. Unless, of course my ringers fell to nine separate misfortunes...but that will never happen. Three, it's possible. Seven, there's an outside shot. But nine?! I'd like to see that!

Breaking News: Due to some freak clubhouse accident, the Royals gave up a solo HR to Jim Thome at 4:02 this afternoon. Details to follow...

7-8-9 batting just under .250

I think I'd rather see Garland bat for Mack though...
