The bridge that goes from the platform to 33rd Street is down, but you can still enter and exit at 35th Street.

IIRC, you enter the lot from Wentworth Avenue.

If your looking for not paying for parking you can park at Schaller's and have a beer (37th and Halsted) and walk the few blocks, or find an open spot by 31st and Princeton, or park in Maxwell Street Porkchops parking lot, all of these work. I've done them all multiple times and their all legal and you won't get towed or get a ticket.

Park in the city at a lot with a good evening/weekend rate and take the Red Line down.

I park at LaSalle/Kinzie for $6

That lot is a freakin joke!!! During game 1 of the ALCS they were charging the last few people coming into the lot 50 bucks!!! And this was still like an hour before game time!!

People paid it to, for some reason. I really felt bad for them but I'm not the moral police so I'm not going to get involved.

Hell, there is a guy who has a house somewhere around 37th-39th and Normal who lets people park in his backyard, and he only charges $20. His yard only holds like 6 cars, but still, it's better than the lot you are speaking of!

So youve parked at the Maxwell st pork chops lot for a game with no issues?

Yeah I've never had a problem with parking at Maxwell Street Porkchops, usually me or somebody I'm with grabs some food from the place so that we don't feel bad just using the lot, but I've seen other people do it as well with no problems. Worse comes to worse there's usually an open parking spot right there on the street where you won't get a ticket or towed.

Thanks for all who posted. I guess I'll give this a shot and keep on 55 until I can take the Cermak Chinatown exit and just drive around until I find a spot either in a lot or street close to the station.
