I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere and since it's false information I figured it should be in What's the Score. Did anyone notice the award winning reporting on the Fox Sports webpage?

The title of the article http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5564122 is "Thome Homers in return to Cleveland." They do mention in the article that he didn't homer but how did the title get the Ok?

It's because, in the world of journalism, you'll find the editors creating the headlines instead of the people who write the articles. It doesn't have to "slip" by anyone, because the editor's the one with the final say on stuff like that.
