Lee just stared him down and Zambrano was warned. Lee already took his ass deep earlier and the Brewers are spanking the 2006 Cy Young award winner.

What a punk!

Zambrano sures thinks he is hot **** for someone who gives up a 2 RBI double to Koskie after throwing at Lee and walking Fielder. I love seeing this guy suffer. :D:

Bases loaded nobody out still 6-0 Brew Crew!

I always chose the Cubs over the Sox!

I like the Brewers so it is good to catch a few pitches during commercials.

Ha this is funny... just checked out the score on yahoo for the brewers/cubs game... they still have CLee's pic with a Sox hat on.... they usually change that after the season.... he's now been there what? 1.5 years? Wonder if Yahoo knows something we don't?

That's not even him man.

It's his little bro, the other Carlos Lee.

Ya, I get a kick out of hit everytime I see it.

The fact that his own brother is also named Carlos Lee is comedic gold.

39,229. My guess is that represents the paid attendance.

NSBB has some great threads on Zambozo over there. The site is very controlled by stat-heads screaming down everyone elses opinion. The stat heads keep telling everyone else that Z, Prior and Wood are Gods, that wins don't matter and everyone else is nuts. They acknowledge their injury problems and everything else but no one has once made the following argument for Wins being an important stat. Yeah Wood and Z have great stats but they throw so many pitches that they leave the game too early and give themselves less of a chance for a win. Basically they should all be middle relievers because that's all they really give you out there.

I remember a few years ago following games with ESPN.com's game tracker, and they put Mansoo Lee's picture up instead of Carlos'. They also kept putting Mark Johnson (short-timer Tigers pitcher) in place of Mark Johnson (the Sox catcher).

Was at the game, there were almost more brewer fans than cub fans. Another great series win for the Brewers/

There's a kind of morbid fascination with watching Zambo blow his cool every game, then lose. He almost makes it too easy to root against him.

BTW ComiskeyBrewer -- is that the warlock from the old Nintendo Final Fantasy games? That is awesome!

That's funny, I feel the same way. If I'm checking out the game he's pitching, I sit there and watch for a few minutes, hoping, (and this year, knowing) something bad is going to happen, and when it does, I start giggling at his reactions. He had another game last year against the Brew in Milwaukee, where he also got knocked around pretty good, and was yanked by the 2nd or 3rd inning. Whenever he has a funny inning like that, I wait to see if the T.V. is going to show him walk back to the dugout, because I wonder if he still takes his hat off, and points to the sky. They never show it though.

Yep, as we have seen for years now, attendance and personal stats (think Sammy's HRs) are more important to Cubdom that winning.

I heard something on the radio today about him flipping off Murton after he didn't make a catch in left field yesterday. I didn't watch the game but is this true? You know he won't hear anything from Dusty about that. What a pud if he did that to his teammate during a game like that.

I saw him make a gesture, but from my seat, i couldn't make out what it was. I heard that on the radio as well. Glad to see the cubs have a "team first" mentality!!

Ah, "announced attendance... (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=69386)"

I heard Pat Hughes say, "Another HUGH crowd HERE today..." That in the face of the fact that The Shrine was half-empty.

He did, though it was hard to see what gesture he made. Real class act. One of my girlfriend's friends was in town from Cali and had free tickets to the game so we went. Had decent seats and actually did not get picked on for wearing my Sox hat and t-shirt. One of my buddies who went with is a big Cubbie fan and we were watching Zambrano warm up. My buddy was going on and on about how Zambrano isn't even focused while warming up and he was right. He was looking at the scoreboard, looking in the stands, scratchin himself, all while warming up. No wonder he sucks, he can't even focus during his warmup, how the hell does anyone think he can focus during a game?
