Well, my wife, son and I got to see the trophy today at the US Cellular store in Orland Park. I've got to say, it was well worth the time to do it. Even as a Sox fan, I've always said that I think the Lombardi trophy is the best looking professional trophy out there. But after being that close to the MLB trophy, ok; they're now tied.

(Granted, I always remember the MLB trophy as a kid that the flag poles would get bent within minutes of the presentation to the WS winners.)

Also got to hold one of the championship rings. Now THAT was awesome.

The line's moved very quick, they had someone taking photos for you, and even though the kept the line moving, it wasn't like they didn't take their time to get the pictures right. It was great.

Anyone else go today?

I didn't go there today; but, I went when the Trophy Tour hit Navy Pier last November, and it's a pretty thing. Hangar18's trophy is fairly close to how the real thing looks...unreal!

I still think the Stanley Cup's the greatest trophy in sports. But, our's is pretty nice looking!
