The Knights continue to rake, scoring 4 runs in the first 5 innings.
Sweeney and Rogowski are leading the offensive charge.
Tracey was effectively wild: 5 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 H, 5 BB, 3 K, 2 WP.
:o:

The Barons have an early 1-0 lead. Valido walked, stole second,
advanced to third on a throwing error by the catcher, and scored
on a SF.
:gulp:

The 'Hogs lead 3-1 in the 4th. Russell already has 6 Ks.

Kanny is getting killed again. It's 7-0 in the 5th.
On the bright side, they have no errors so far.
DRodriguez gave up 7 ER in 4 IP.

The Knights are 15 - 6 after winning 4-2. Best start since becoming the White Sox AAA team. Ottawa only managed 2 hits. Tracey had 5 walks and 2 ERs in 5 innings. Javier Lopez got the save. Ryan Sweeney has his average up to .282

Wow, the Barons and the 'Hogs win in two completely different kind of games.

Broadway continues to shine as Birmingham wins 1- 0 over Montgomery. Meanwhile Winston-Salem bludgeoned Frederick 19- 2, too many offensive stars to mention in that one.

Lopez earned his 5th save for the Knights.
Gonzalez 1-3, 2B, BB, RBI.
Sweeney 2-2, 2 BB, 2 R, SB.
Rogo 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI, SB, CS.
Rivera homered.

Broadway's line: 6 IP, 0 R, 6 H, 1 BB, 4 K.
Tucker followed with 2 scoreless innings & 3 Ks.
Wasserman notched his 3rd save.
Getz 1-3, HBP, SB.

Russell's line: 5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 4 BB, 6 K.
Hernandez followed with 2 perfect innings & 4 Ks.
Bakker closed it out with a perfect innng & 2 Ks.
As noted, the offensive production was ridiculous,
but I'll point out the following:
Smith 4-6, 2 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI, SB (8).
Hansen 2-4, HR, 2 BB, 4 R, 3 RBI, SB.
Kelly 4-5, 2B, HR, 3 R, 4 RBI, SF.
