You can see a clip of Ryan Howard's two home runs at the Phillies Official Web Site (http://phillies.mlb.com). The first was the most impressive. Watch it, and you'll see what I mean.

Below that clip is a clip of Rowand making a great catch at the wall. I sure miss Crash :(:

If Hawk has called most of Thome's blasts "Majestic" so far this year, I wonder what he would call that!

When Ryan Howards get a piece of a ball... HE GETS A PIECE OF IT. Anybody remember his ST homerun that ended up on the highway?

How far did he hit that first one? Over 500 feet?

I think they said 496 on SportsCenter.

Howard, you've got nothing on me.

Another bad route resulting in Rowand needing to crash into the wall to make a catch.

Not to mentiont the the left fielder seemed to be doing everything he could to prevent the catch.

Ha! No kidding. Rowand runs behind the guy and into the left fielders territory to catch the ball, while he (the LF) just stands there. What the hell was that?

Pat Burrell is a poor defender, so Crash has to take another improper route and fall on his back with the ball. That being said, too bad the Phillies don't have a major league pitching staff.

Really! The least he could have done was get out of the way so Rowand didn't land on him --- could have both been hurt. It was like the Rowand, Dye, Pods commercial from last year.

Dye and Pods, slapping gloves: "caught the ball.", running off the field

Rowand, still laying on the ground: "guys, a little help?" :roflmao:

The Phillies have underachieved thus far. I still think Manuel will be the first manager fired.

At USCF that home run probably would have cleared the center field backdrop (or at least come close to hitting that row of speakers).

And yes, the Sillies could definitely use some starting pitching. Right now they have two young guys and three #3's. Who knows, maybe Gio Gonzalez will turn into a top-of-the-rotation starter...

That ball was tagged!

I thought it was pretty funny how the CF Abercrombie ran back to the wall like he actually had a bead on that ball.
