AFTER the game tonight. Usually after a homer or after a win you rarely hear a good rendition of it. Tonight, sounded like more than half the park was singing it. If you were there and participted, good job and keep up the good work! The crowd was definately into it tonight. Made me wish to be there. I had to go to Walnut, Il instead. :(

I sang the song hard and proud. Cheered loudly with pride. I have no voice from the past 2 games.

The crowd was great in section 110! Everyone was really into the game. Some clown tried getting a wave started in 8th and lots of fans were shouting him down. A guy behind me yelled, "Who sold you the Sox gear you're wearing? We don't do the wave here!" Fortunately, Thome's homer put an end to his lame attempts. :D:

I was thinking the same thing about the end of the game. It was a great night!

Scout night last night and I was in the section with all the scouts. I tell ya, with all the drunkenness and cursing, I'd rather have a crying baby next to me.

Scouts as in MLB scouts scouting the Sox or scouts as in Boy Scouts?

If it's the former, I can understand it, I would be getting drunk and cursing too if I had a team that had to play the Sox.

If it's the latter, someone needs to upgrade the carding policy at USCF.

Oh and I remember late in the 2003 season when Brad Radke shut out the Sox or won 4-1 in day game to complete a 3 game sweep of the Sox at USCF and effectively clinch the division for the Twinkies. I was sitting with Hangar when it happened. I hope they sang his old broken butt off the field too.

I'd assumed that Beautox was addressing the Queen of Carthage (http://www.pantheon.org/articles/d/dido.html).

It's funny you brought that up, because I was thinking the same. I remember back in the day people LOVED Na na na na and sang it proudly, let's go ahead and bring that back.

First off, it was GREAT to hear Nancy again yesterday! We need more Nancy!

Secondly, I'd say that the atmosphere at the last couple of games was nothing short of electric. Of course, the fact that we were obliterating the Twins in every way helped tremendously! It was awesome to hear Torii Hunter get booed big time (he's my most hated baseball player, and I was booing with everyone)...He's a punk!

One of my complaints about the new park has always been that Nancy ended the song after 2 verses so they could play another comercial on the Jumbo Tron. I hope they noticed that we actually like to get the park rocking with that song like we did in the old park.:gulp:

I sang along all 3 games. On Sunday's game stood up and sang the Lets Go Go White Sox song.
