Looking at the remaining schedule we could make a run real soon, but we still have to get it done vs Cleveland and Minnesota in the end.
White Sox schedule (http://baseball.espn.go.com/mlb/schedule?team=chw)
After tomorrow we have 3 vs KC. An easy 2 or 3 wins. Then 4 vs TB. We should be able to take 3 of 4 from them. After those 7 games and tomorrow we could be 7 over(best case scenario) or only 500(worst case scenario). So its obvious that no matter how bad the opponent is we have to play well.
Then we play 3 vs every AL West team. 8 out of 12 would be good there. That's followed by 4 @KC, 3 @TB and Detroit. 3 easy series.
In September the Sox play a lot of the teams they need to beat. To start 4 vs Cleveland followed by 4 vs Detroit and 4 @Cleveland. 8 big games vs Cleveland are split by a should be easy 4 game series vs Detroit. We need to take at least 7 or 8 there. Next in September is a tough 9 game stretch with 6 vs NYY and 3 vs Minnesota. Just stay a float there, 4 or 5. We finish the season with 6 vs KC and 3 more vs Minnesota. Wow, a very tough September, but that's the way we are going to get in.
