Would you wish the Cubs to leave town forever, BUT,the Sox not make the 2005 World Series.
What would you choose?

Maybe you need to understand the question. I think he means would you rather ahve the Cubs leave forever or the WHITE SOX not go/win the 05 WS.

I would choose winning the WS. Anybody who would give that up is stupid. I don't give a damn about that other team in Chicago so it me Chicago is a one team city.

This implies that the Cubs might actually matter.

World Series. Too bad this isn't a poll; it'd probably be the most one-sided one in WSI history. (probably? Should that be in teal?)

Hangar may have been the only vote the Cubs got.

Why do the Cubs being in Chicago bother you? How many cities can say that they have 2 teams and get to see a game almost everyday. Whether you like them or hate em baseball is baseball and I watch them when the Sox aren't playing or its a commercial. Look at Detroit or Pittsburgh their teams are yearly horrible and the fans unless they shell out 200 bucks get stuck watching 162 suckfests, where as here it seems every year one of and sometimes both teams are playing competitve and exciting baseball. Take advantage of the gift givin to you don't **** on it. Sorry for the rant but the Cubsession is horribly annoying and rediculous.

Oh, my lord. Where are we getting these questions?

Answer: Dude...there's nothing..NOTHING better than seeing the Sox win a World Series. No, wait. How about :
1.)Seeing the White Sox win the first championship in 88 years in Chicago

2.)Seeing this happen during this supposed Cubs window of opportunity to win (considering the Cubs have the "wonderboys" in their rotation..heh heh)

3.)Watching the Cubs wallow in mediocrity while the "red headed step children" Sox continue to climb up the charts in popularity in Chicago.

The Cubs and their moronic fans having to watch this business is one of the beautiful things about this era in Sox baseball. They were supposed to be the "big bad team that wins it all behind their stud pitchers".

How sweet it is.

If it included an option to FOLD the Florida Marlins franchise.

I really wish people would get over their Flubsessions. I have reformed. Since October 26, 2005 I have not paid any attention to the cubs. My life has been much better because of it. Try it. You'll be amazed at how losing hate and getting rid of the paranoia spills over into other aspects of your life and will make you a much better person.

Achieve Inner Peace...forget about the cubs and their fans.

I remember this being a poll on mac jurko harry show, and surprisingly, it was 60/40 for Banishing Cubs forever. The reasoning? The SOX will win it again this year, and most likely win more easily w/o the cubs in the way, media bashing/ignoring us.

Are you kiddin' me?

The Sox winning the World Series is the greatest thing I have ever experienced as a sports fan. The Cubs aren't even on my radar because of it. I wouldn't trade the Sox title for ANYTHING else in the world of sports. And neither should any true White Sox fan. Period.
