Was anybody else chagrined when Mientkiewicz broke up the no-no with his 89-footer? I was in the mood for a no-hitter today!

(And yes, I did have to look up the spelling of the K.C. firstbaseman's name.)

Yes. I was at the gym doing my cardio and watching the game. The sound was off and I had my iPod on, but when Mientkiewicz got that cheap hit I yelled "Noooo!!!". I got some looks. :redface: Ah well...it was still a great perfromance by Vazquez today.

BTW...I like when the games are on WGN and I can watch at the gym. I did over an hour of cardio with no problem cause I watched from the 5th inning until the end while on the machine. :cool:
