Sox Rap By D.j. Redmeat Steak
There Is A Bunch Of Guys
On Da South Side
They Is Fly, They Is Strength
And Dey All Pull Dere Weight
They Combine,
Be It Rain Or Sunny
To Please Their Homies
Who Pay Good Money
Last Year They Won
The Biggest Prize
The World Series Champs
Testify !!!!!
They Put On Them Hats
And Pulled Off The Stupid Tags
Unlike Most Nba Fools
The Sox Is The Rage
Ya'll Can Take Drugs
And Imagine Seeing Centipedes
My Drug Is South Born
Da Sox- My Ecstasy
Cub Fans Wear Blue
To Match Their Usual Mood
Sox Wear Silver N Black
In Your Face Attack
So Move Yo Butt
Out Of Your N'borhood
And Go Down To Da Cell
Wear Yo Bling Bling And Jell
Root For Da Team
That Took Baseball By Storm
And Scream And Yell
Till Your Lungs Are Worn
Witness The Beast
That Tamed Baseballs Best
And Made It To The Top
And Laid The Cubs To Rest
So Testify My Dawgs
And Sista's Of Chi-town
The White Sox Are The Chilla's
And Our Champeens All Around

Yeah I'm a pretty big rap fan, not that garbage you hear on the radio or 16 year olds with Civics have blarring in the turning lane behind you. But rap has a deep history of some pretty creative/intelligent people, lot of people just scuff at it because its different though.

I like more of the old school stuff. Most of the stuff that's played on the radio is junk to me. I'd rather hear the fun stuff: Fat Boys-wipeout, Sir Mixalot Baby Got Back, Dangerous on the Dancefloor etc.....

Most of this doesn't even rhyme. :?: That's kinda essential to rap.

Common is coming to my school today, and it's free and on my birthday. Didn't know there were hip-hop heads on this board, certainly seem to be a lot of haters, although If I don't like I don't like it/ That don't mean that I'm hating.
