View Full Version : Crede has only fanned twice so far.
Hard to believe Joe Crede has struck out only twice so far. Paulie only four times.

Crede, I think, has never put up large k numbers though I think somewhere between 60 and 80 a year

He is more of a pop-out to 2nd guy.

Yeah even with that long swing he hasn't been a big K guy.
According to BaseballReference.com, if you pro-rate his seasons to a full 162 games played, he would average 89 K's per year. He's making considerably better contact so far this season. Hopefully the 2005 post-season was Joe's coming out party and he'll start putting up consistently solid offensive numbers.

He'll be looking for a contract this year.

Joe has made huge strides the last 2-3 years, imo. He is completely comfortable in clutch at bats and a vacuum at third. I used to use his at bats to go to the fridge. Not any more.
