Not surprisingly, the first 2 news stories listed about the White Sox are negative, starting with the story about Garcia getting mad at Iguchi's error, and the other story about Buehrle getting fined:
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-060416soxgamer,1,692442.story?coll=chi-sportsnew-hed

The first story about Garcia doesn't even mention that Garcia apologized to Iguchi. Trying to make something out of nothing.

The second story regarding Buehrle's fine puts not only Mark in a negative light, but his relationship with KW as well:
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-060416soxbuehrle,1,6990849.story?coll=chi-sportsnew-hed

Man, the Cubune is really reaching everytime the Sox win.

Contrast that headline with the story about Glendone Rusch proving his mettle by beating the Pirates. I didn't read the Rusch story, only the headline and the summary on ChicagoSports.com, maybe the article mentions that the Pirates suck and they were without their slugger, Sean Casey. Let's see if Garland has a solid outing against the Royals if they have a similar story and headline for Garland.

Tangent: Who's better, this season, Royals or Pirates?

I want to say the Pirates, as they have better pitching prospects. Their offense is terrible, however, in every way. Grudz., Sanders, Sweeney, and Berroa make the Royals lineup respectable. I say just merge the two teams into the Pittsburgh Royals, and see what happens.

I'm curious; has there ever been a slushy-slide injury?

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that this was not started by Hangar.

Henry, you ok?

I'd hate for Hangar to think I'm stealing his thunder (which nobody could do) but these types of things are very annoying.

The Cubune includes another "5-tool Pie" article as well today.

The paper also neglects to mention that Sox win put them into a tie for first place. Which is meaningless in April, but I'm sure if the Flubs manage to make it into a tie for first they'll make a much bigger deal about it.
