I thought the Sox were supposed to wear the 1906 unis for Sunday home games this year ... was I wrong about that?

no, I was also looking forward to seeing the Sox break out the old uniforms today. Perhaps the next Sunday at the Cell they'll do it.

I hope they ditch the entire idea because those 1906 unis are atrocious.

I bet they wait until the Cubs series.

I believe it is the pitchers choice if they wear them on Sunday or not.

So did I, at first. The more I see fellas wearing them, the more they grow on me. I've started to like them so much, I half thought about picking one up myself!

They are a good tool to make idiot Flub fans feel that you are on their side.

Ugh.. I don't want them talking to me at all. Is it appropriate to buy a Thome Winning Ugly jersey if they wear them this eason?

They're hideous. And baggy uniforms look stupid. Plus wind resistance. I..

And don't we always seem to lose whenever we wear some kind of throwback uniform?

They probably wont start until after they were them for the Cubs series. Even then, they probably wont wear them every Sunday home game.

I can think of one time the Sox didn't lose with the throwbacks...

I saw the '06 jerseys at Grandstand the last time I was there and thought they were underwhelming at best. I don't care how often the Sox wear them this year.

That picture will be in the Hall of Records at Beowulf's basecamp. It's that badass.

They're hideous. And baggy uniforms look stupid. Plus wind resistance. Baggy uniforms are the way baseball uniforms are supposed to look (see below.) Believe me, nobody short of The Flash runs fast enough for wind resistance to make a significant difference. We're not talking about the Olympic 100 meter dash here.

I remember at SoxFest Brooks said the Sox would wear those jerseys on select Sundays. Not sure what he meant by select - maybe when the pitcher selects them.
