Everyone don't forget to bring your rain ponchos, umbrellas, etc.

(good thing I'm in a diamond suite today)

Yeah it looks ominous out there but this has got to be the warmest day of the year. I know it's the first day I've left for work without a jacket. Temp downtown is 75 and it's only 10 o clock. Yikes. Supposed to reach 83 or so.

Weather.com's hour by hour shows isolated T-storms but none after the 5 o'clock hour. If that holds true, we're lookin' good.

I'm not worried about rain, but I'm feeling kind of silly for wearing shorts today, when it's going to be a low of 49 tonight. I'm hoping for a MB-like game tonight, 1:45 or so.

It looks like the weather may clear by game time tonight, but I heard their was some nasty weather that hit Iowa City last night, that stuff usually comes are way.

The forecast calls for a chance of rain in the early afternoon but should clear up by game time.

Scattered showers only, nothing to worry about. I will be up there in section 531.

Besides... The clouds shall part and let us play the game like I've seen many times... Rain to the north, rain to the south; ballpark dry as can be

is it a bad idea to wear shorts tonight?

Not because of temperature. Your shins might get wet, but I think I'd rather have wet shins than wet pants.

I don't think it'll rain too much, nothing's happened at all yet. It may not be ideal playing conditions but I would bet we'll get this game in no problem.

Whenever I bring an umbrella and poncho it never rains. I brought them to about 5 games last year, and I never got rained on.
It does look ominous out there, though, and it's 3:30ish now.

Based on that it looks like Thome will have to hit 2 opposite field HR's instead of pulling them to right. Darn.

Pfft. Tornado, schmornado.

That's what my grandfather always said. Until one day he mysteriously floated away. :?:

The weather tonight was beautiful....and so was the game until the 5th inning.
