Already got really good lower deck seats in the outfield for the game this saturday. Going with my girlfriend (who is a sox fan), this is her first game.

While the tickets were still normal price (I think), getting lower deck seats for a weekend game is damn worth the $10 price of admission.

The bad part is that you can only buy 2 for the WHOLE SEASON! I'm sure everyone on there is saving up to try to get Sox/Cubs.

Someone on the sox pride board said they tried to buy tickets with and without the code...same price, same section, different rows/seats.

Honestly it's a bit of a put on, but I guess for some high demand games the seats around it might be sold out. 20 held tickers per game is kinda low and only being able to buy 2 per season is limiting...but it was only $9.99, you can't ask for much more. Go Sox!

I went to the Dbacks opening day( not impress by the park, similar to Miller but Miller is better)

They have a rewards program

would be a nice addition to the Pride Club

I was thinking about joining, but it seems like a rip off. Can anyone get a good read on it yet?

I basically just joined it for the Gameday audio (plus the cool membership card). You pay $9.95 for the membership, and that's $5 cheaper than just paying for Gameday Audio through mlb.com, so now I can listen to the Sox games at work. Other than that...I haven't tried getting tickets yet because I'm strapped for cash, so I don't know if that's a bonus or not. There's a message board there, but its not much better than the normal mlb.com Sox board (there are already posts about the Cubs), except there aren't trolls.

Brooks already said they are not going in that direction.

Maybe I am in the minority but I really like it. The gameday audio is pretty cool. I go to night school, so it's great to come home after school and listen to game archives. And I also like the pregame notes you can read, I think they're kind of interesting. Good to know the seats you can get through it are in a good location. I haven't bought tickets yet but I plan on it. Plus I don't mind the automatic renewal, for me $10/year isn't a big issue, and I doubt I'll stop being a Sox fan anytime soon anyways.

They would rather charge an astronimical amount for "Fantasy Experiences"

Maybe they just seem good to me because I have had a really tough time getting anything in the lower deck during the weekend games. Every game I looked to purchase tickets to stuck me in the upper deck, and way up there in the upper deck.

It is okay that this is a one time deal for me.

Don't the proceeds from these go to White Sox Charities?

http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/cws/fan_forum/spc/details.jspThanks for the warning. I just joined and that's something I overlooked until I read the thread again. That's a sneaky way of getting people's money. I detest automatic renewals, so I'll be sure to cancel if I don't think the Club is worth the expense.

They would rather charge an astronimical amount for "Fantasy Experiences"Most "rewards" in rewards programs are junk or stuff they can produce for little money. Take a gander at teh prizes you can earn by recycling at the ballpark. It's all old giveaway items or low dollar prizes.

And brooks? Rewards program do more than just reward loyal customers. You can track thier spending habits too!

I though it was a rip-off too. What's the deal with the mandatory rectal exams?

How is it a rip-off? MLB charges $5 more just to receive the audio. You get that at a discount plus the opportunity to purchase lower deck seats that you never would get and anything else the membership provides. The rectal exam is for you to get your head out of your ass. Do the championship banners bother you because you cannot see the lighting support towers clearly?
