CNN: Bonds Focus of Federal Perjury Probe

CNN is reporting (http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/04/13/bonds.steroid/index.html) that Barry Bonds may be the target of a Federal perjury probe.

I would imagine a federal prosecutor could have a field day with Bonds' "I didn't know the cream was a steroid" BS.

I think Bonds can go away for 3-5 years. Just so long as that ******* doesn't pass Ruth or Aaron.

As you all know, the feds are investigating whether Barry Bonds committed perjury when he said he never knowingly used steroids. I don't think there a way to prove it unless they got pics, blood samples. How can you prove if someone took steroids years ago? What do you think the outcome will be?

They can't disprove that he unknowingly used 'roids unless someone testifies against him, and I don't see that happening.
