Move over Camden Yards, ATT Park in San Francisco deserves all the hype it has gotten. Just a wonderful place to see a game.

pics from my cellphone ( you will notice they haven't changed the signs on the park yet )

What i didn't know is the Coke bottle is their kids play area very well done ( I can see where the White Sox got the idea )

When the game ends every seagull in Northern California heads for the bleachers

I have NO IDEA what an Express bathroom is :?:

I thought they packed the house everytime?
Didn't feel brave enough to test the express bathroom?

I found the fans to be very similar to White Sox fans, they into the game.

Beer a little pricey at 8.75 a pop :gulp:

Tomorrow night I see how the other half lives in Oakland :?:

BTW Bonds getting close he hit 2 drives to the warning track to ooohs and ahhs from the crowd. They love him:o:

It was the first game of a DH, so who knows.

regulars were surprised at the crowd ( the afternoon game was the scheduled one, the makeup is tonight )

They don't make it easy to buy tickets on the day of game, only 2 windows open. Everything I saw it is a fine operation, and I can only wonder what we could have had in Boston with a new park on the harbor.

From what I've heard, San Fran is about the most expensive city in the country. I thought NYC was out of control

LOL. PNC park is in Pittsburgh. I know it's all letters, but that made me laugh. You're looking for SBC/ATT

I love the fact that Pac Bell is close to public transportation!!!

LA has a subway line and it's pretty good but the Dump Dodger Stadium isn't close to any train lines and the cheap Dodgers stopped running shuttles from Union Station to Dodger Stadium.

The snobs of the Orange Curtain won't allow a train to go through their neighborhoods. NIMBY's at their best!!!!!!!!

I love going to games at Staples, just two blocks from the blue line.

now I am off to the "ballpark" in Oakland and will cheer Frank. Sorry I missed his milestone homer last night

At least the cozy crowd got its jollies watching Thomas and Johnson. In the fifth inning, Thomas hit his 450th career home run, moving into 29th place on the all-time list, breaking a tie with Jeff Bagwell.

"It's a good moment, but not in the middle of a four-game losing streak," said Thomas, who acquired the ball in a trade, giving a fan an autographed bat. "I missed a lot of baseball the last two years. Thank God I'm back playing."

Nice pics Fenway, thanks for sharing. Looks like a nice ballpark. I hope to get to check it out soon. At least to use those express bathrooms.
