Pierzynski
Podsednik
Mackowiak
Buehrle (I've noticed quiet a few spell it; Buerhle)
Contreras (believe it or not, this is a tricky one to some)
Thornton (it's not Thorton ay?)
Politte (seen it spelled with one T quite often)
Vazquez (not 2, not 1 S in it either)
Which name(s) gives you the most trouble? Select all that apply and BE HONEST! :D:

It makes more sense than a Farve does.

The Royals are the team with the hardest names to spell. Especially the right side of their infield.

Given our Sox' illustrious history of signing players with Commentator-Kryptonite names (like Tadahito Iguchi for instance - it's so hard to remember), I was heartily surprised when we failed to pick up Grudzielanek & Mientkiewicz when they became available.
And, just think of the $ Grandstand could make - how much is it per letter on a Jersey now?

That infield is pretty rough on the spelling.

My wife is Polish, so names like Pierzynski or Mackowiak aren't too tough for me. Even Grudzielanek wasn't too bad for me.
Did have a little trouble nailing Buehrle's name though, but I think I have it down now. Most of the time.

Just think to yourself, "isn't it ironic that you can't spell such a good pitcher's name without 'HR'?"
Because I think the natural impluse is to spell it "Buerhle."
