Charlotte has an early get-away game. They lead 7-3 in the 6th. Haeger's final line: 5 IP, 3 R, 0 ER, 4 H, 4 BB, 3 K. Reynoso relieved him. Owens has hit another HR and scored twice. Stewart is 1-2, BB, SB, R. Velandia (filling in for Lopez) is 3-3.

The other 3 teams have night games.

Plus a WP (and 4 BB in 5 IP) for Chuck Haeger. Now THAT'S a dancing knuckler!

Does Widger have any experience catching a knuckleballer? I don't think I'd want A.J. behind the plate for Haeger.

I wonder how long it will take for the cries to bring up Owens as a replacement for Pods or Anderson to start?

If I'm too lazy to type "Birmingham," "Winston-Salem," "Warthogs," and "Intimidators," do you really think I'm gonna start putting spaces in this guy's name?
