And the drumbeat continues. In an article (http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/sns-ap-earns-tribune,1,7976083.story?coll=chi-business-hed) in today's Tribune, it reports that the parent company's profits have fallen by 28% in the first quarter of this year. They're still making money, but the shareholders are increasingly cranky.

This article doesn't mention the sell-the-Cubs grumbling by the shareholders, but you can bet it'll come up again. PHG has a nice summary article on the WSI homepage about the Tribune's problems. Stay tuned.

They're not poor yet. They're just not making as much money as they used to. What a shame...
